CLAC's Board of Director's consists of eleven community members, two state representatives and two state senators. One community member is appointed from each of Minnesota's eight congressional districts and three members are appointed at-large. The Governor appoints all eleven community members. The Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives appoints the two state representatives and the Subcommittee on Committees of the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration appoints the two state senators. The four state legislators serve as nonvoting members of the board. CLAC Staff

The Council exists to advise the governor and the state legislature on issues, which affect the Chicano/Latino community in the state of Minnesota. We invite you to share your ideas on ways to strengthen social, economic, and political opportunities for our community.
