The Chicano Latino Affairs Council has established a partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) to better serve students in the Upper-Midwest region with information on educational opportunities in higher education.  Some of these opportunities include scholarships, fellowships, and internships for Latino students.

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities represents more than 450 colleges and universities committed to Hispanic higher education success in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America, Spain and Portugal.  HACU is the only national educational association that represents Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) and has nationally renowned internship program.

CHCI

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) is one of the leading Hispanic non-profit and non-partisan 501(c) (3) organizations in the country. CHCI was established in 1978 by Congressman Edward Roybal, Congressman E. "Kika" de la Garza and Congressman Baltasar Corrada to help increase opportunities for Hispanics to participate in and contribute to the American policy making process.

Since then, CHCI's mission has been to develop the next generation of Hispanic leaders. Our vision is an educated and civically active Hispanic community participating at the local, state and federal policy decision-making levels.
