2009 Legislative Agenda
The council members for the Chicano Latino Affairs Council approved the 2009 Legislative Agenda for the 86th Minnesota Legislature, 2009 Session. The legislative agenda includes the council’s platform and legislative priorities in education, health, immigration, economic development, and health. The agenda was released at the 2009 CLAC Latino Legislative Day at the Capitol.

2008 Legislative Agenda
At the December 2007 the Chicano Latino Affairs Council adopted the 2008 Legislative Agenda for the 86th Minnesota Legislative Session. The legislative agenda includes CLAC's legislative priorities, recent work and community forums statewide, and research and policy analysis on issues, such as education, health, immigration, economic development, and health.

Issues Brief 2007: PRE K-12 EDUCATION
Working towards the educational achievement of Latino students in Minnesota
In an effort to advise and inform the governor and state Legislature on specific issues that impact Minnesota's Latino community, the Council launched its first Issues Brief on Pre K-12 Education with legislative recommendations, background, and best practices in education statewide.

CLAC Position Statement: U.S. Immigration Policy
The Chicano Latino Affairs Council also presents its position statement on U.S. Immigration Policy and its impact on states. In short, CLAC strongly supports instituting a comprehensive immigration reform policy that is nondiscriminatory and consistent with American laws and values.
